The victory laps of Fantomas
Once again a splendid performance from Karline De Brabander and Fantomas de Muze (f. Sandro Boy). Only a few weeks after their triumph in Lanaken, they repeated this gimmick in Moorsele by speeding to victory in a lightning fast jump-off on a 1.45m-course.
Also at Zilveren Spoor, several young horses with a link to Stal de Muze were present and they were quite successful. In the classes for seven-year-olds, there was a victory and a third place for L’Arcotique van ‘t Meulenhof (f. Bamako de Muze) and Marjan De Wachter. Mosito van het Hellehof impressed in the classes for five- and six-year-olds with three days in a row a superb double clear and Napoleon of Picobello Z (f. Nabab de Rêve) also showed himself in a positive way, as did Elvis De Wijnendale Z (f. Elvis ter Putte).
Beker van Oost-Vlaanderen
Even closer to home, there was a victory for Christophe De Brabander in the 'Beker van Oost-Vlaanderen'. Furthermore, he had our homebred Genève de Muze (f. Vigo d'Arsouilles) under the saddle for these courses.
See below for a couple of pictures of his victory (copyright: Something ELSe Photography).
Glock’s London on the rise
Some more young talent in the German city of Mannheim and the Italian city Busto Arsizio, where a couple of young Glock’s London (ex-Carembar de Muze)-progeny were doing nice things. In Mannheim, it was Oak Grove’s Laith (mf. Quaprice Bois Margot) that helped Harm Lahde to a third and fifth place in the classes for seven-year-olds. In Busto Arsizio on the other hand, the victory went to Turkish rider Omer Karaevli and six-year-old Hayley (mf. Balou du Rouet). In the same class, Monseigneur (f. Nabab de Rêve) jumped to a third place. Also in Italy, five-year-old Il Divo showed himself to the world with Swiss rider Simone Buhofer. The latter also rode Flying Girl (f. Querlybet Hero) to a fifth spot in a 1.50m-class.
GCT Madrid
Over to the five-star-level, because the Global Champions Tour-circuit continued in Madrid for the first leg on European soil. Once more, there were some successes for Stal de Muze with Cadeau de Muze proving himself worthy of the highest level more and more. This time, he finished ninth in the second part of the Global Champions League, ridden by Denis Lynch of course. Fidux (f. Malito de Rêve) and Eduardo Alvarez Aznar on their turn, took a fifth placing in the first part.
Impressive Fantomas-family
At the CSIO in Linz-Ebelsberg, Igor de Muze (f. Tinka’s Boy) jumped to the bronze medal in the Nations Cup with Marco Viviani as a member of the Italian team. Igor is half-brother to Fantomas de Muze by the way. Chic Hin d’Hyrencourt also was part of the bronze team, he even added an individual eight place in the GP to that. Chic Hin is ridden by Antonio Alfonso and is a son of Taran de la Pomme.
Ramiro B
Ramiro B is also developing as a world-class eventing sire. His son Cooley Master Class won in Kentucky only two weeks ago and this time, another son of his, Cooley SRS ended second in one of the most prestigious competitions on earth, more precisely the Badminton Horse Trials. Cooley SRS is ridden by Oliver Townend.
Valve
To end this week’s overview, we are glad to share that two out of the five most popular breeding sires of the BWP studbook last year, are available through Stal de Muze. It concerns Le Blue Diamond van ‘t Ruytershof and Vigo d’Arsouilles.
