WEG Tryon
The most remarkable performance of last weekend was achieved by Irenice Horta. Very tough courses in Tryon, but no problems for the ten-year-old Irenice Horta. The daughter of Vigo d’Arsouilles jumped to an amazing individual seventh place at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon. In the team competition, Glasgow van ‘t Merelsnest (f. Nabab de Rêve) became fifth with the Dutch team, ridden of course by Jur Vrieling.
Bonheiden
Our full attention was targeted at the World Equestrian Games, but there was also jumping competition elsewhere. In Bonheiden, Caipiranja (f. Taran de la Pomme) became fifth in the GP3* with Canadian rider Tiffany Foster. Also in Bonheiden, there was a third place in Bonheiden for Doron Kuipers and Homer de Muze (f. Nabab de Rêve) over 1.40m.
In the young horse classes, there were some notable performances by Memphis van ‘t Hulgenrode (f. Elvis ter Putte) in the classes for six-year-olds, ridden by Bunoit Moeskops. Nerio de la Haute Bruyères (f. Elvis ter Putte) and Virginie Thonon equalled that performance in the classes for five-year-olds.
Moorsele & Caledon
Freud del Cabanon (f. Filou de Muze) impressed in the young horse classes in Moorsele. With Gilles Murigneux, he became third and fifth in the classes for seven-year-olds. Finally, in Caledon, there was a seventh place for Ian Millar and Dixson (f. Vigo d’Arsouilles) in the GP.
