Our young stallion Sambucci de Muze (Scendro x Vigo d'Arsouilles) finished tenth at the Dutch Championship for 6-year-olds last week. Three clear rounds earned him a place in the jump-off. Therein, he picked up four penalties under Luke Hill. This resulted in a great tenth place in the overall championship. Also qualified for the six-year-olds’ final were offspring by Vigo d'Arsouilles and Lector vd Bisschop. In the championship for 5-year-olds, we found offspring of Denzel van 't Meulenhof, Bamako de Muze and Vigo d'Arsouilles in the final. The championship for 7-year-olds yielded a spot in the final for a descendant of Vigo d'Arsouilles.
Belgian Championships 7-year-olds
Also striking were the performances by the offspring of Bamako de Muze at the Belgian Championships for 7-year-olds. In the final, we saw no fewer than five offspring by Bamako. The best result was achieved by Nick Bossaerts and Reykjavik Odeveld, who eventually finished 11th. We also saw descendants of Gino H, By Cera d'Ick and Elvis Ter Putte in the final.
There was also a top result at the Belgian Championships for 7-year-olds in eventing. Wouter De Cleene piloted Ragdoll de Tamise (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) to second place.
Lier
Maverick Van Lent and Forever du Givre (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) showed their form at the Azelhof with a win in a ranking class. In the 1.40m classes there were places of honour for Thibeau Spits on Qadira de Regor (s. Bamako de Muze) and Louis Lambrecht on Juristo van het Hagenhof (s. Elvis Ter Putte).
St Lô
In the GP3* of St Lô, the win went to Alexa Ferrer and Naiade d'Elsendam Z (s. Nabab de Rêve). Mathieu Billot triumphed in a 1.45m class riding Lord de Muze (s. Nabab de Muze). For Marie Demonte and Give Me One Reason DK (s. By Cera d'Ick) there was a placing over 1.40m.
Pedro Junqueira Muylaert finished eighth in the GP2* on Girl Power DK (s. By Cera d'Ick). Nicolas Layec picked up a close placing in a 1.40m class riding Fee de Caryan (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles).
Samorin
Portobella van de Fruitkorf (s. Bamako de Muze) jumped to second place in the GP3* of Samorin under Emilie Conter. We also noted fine performances by Harm Lahde on Echo van Spalbeek Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte) and Aura Vasama on Eowyn de Goedereede (s. Elvis Ter Putte).
Other
In Opglabbeek, Filippa Enmark (King Kong van 't Valissenhof, s. Fantomas de Muze), Camilla Bosio (Hervesther, s. Elvis Ter Putte), Carlo Spaggiari (Ilyon ES, s. Gemini xx) and Tina Lund (Ozzy Osbourne vd Goudblomme, s. Scendro) were placed in various 1.40m classes. In Donaueschingen, there was a fifth place for Sönke Aldinger on Quest van de Vossendries (s. Elvis Ter Putte) over 1.40m.
