The final phase of the BWP approval is just around the corner, but last weekend three stallions presented by us were already approved for the SBS studbook. In anticipation of our stallion presentation on 8 April, we already briefly introduce them to you here. The first one is Wait and See de la Linière, a son of Chacco-Blue out of the same dam as Mosito. Wuhan de la Linière is also out of a top mare, Oilily de Muze. His sire is Bamako. The third one listens to the name What A Call de Muze. This son of Special Star de Corlato has the GP mare Call Me de Muze Z as his granddam.
Wellington
Over to the international sport then. In Wellington, Minute Man (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) jumped to place nine in the GP under Henrik von Eckermann. In the Nations Cup, Bertram Allen impressed with his only 9-year-old future star Qonquest de Rigo (s. Fantomas de Muze). This duo jumped 0/4 and finished second with the Irish team. The also 9-year-old Qnokke de Muze (s. Mosito van het Hellehof) took bronze under Nicola Philippaerts as part of the Belgian quartet.
Doha
With seventh place, Denis Lynch and Brooklyn Heights (ex-Jorden van de Kruishoeve, s. Nabab de Rêve) impressed in the Doha GP5*. Philippe Rozier placed our breeding product Le Coultre de Muze (s. Presley Boy) in tenth position. In the three-star classes, Christopher Kläsener jumped into the spotlight riding Popeye vd Bisschop (s. Lector vd Bisschop) in a 1.50m class. Jeanne Sadran and Funky Boy des Reves (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) finished fourth and fifth over 1.40m. There was also a place of honour at 1.40m level for Hasan Senturk in the saddle of Onatella van ‘t Roosakker (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles).
Ocala
The Ocala GP4* produced a fourth-place finish for Luis Sabino Gonçalves and Scoop de Septon Z (s. Scendro), having previously finished fifth in a 1.50m class. Francisco Goyoaga Mollet and PST de Muze (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) finished ninth in the GP. Furthermore, the GP2* yielded a second place for Lucy Deslauriers and Starlet (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles). Over 1.45m there was fifth place for Stefano Baruzzo riding Orchidee vd Bisschop (s. El Torreo de Muze). There was also a place of honour at the same level for Michael Walton with Viva La Vida RW Z (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles).
Oliva
Alice Janout and Esprit d'Intro Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte) adorned third place in Oliva's GP3*, just ahead of Krzysztof Ludwiczak and Vestari (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles). Jérôme Guery came ninth in the saddle of Great Britain V (s. Nabab de Rêve). This duo also won a ranking class earlier. Over 1.50m there was a second place for Que Sera JW van de Moerhoeve (s. By Cera d'Ick) under Stijn Timmerman. In several 1.40m and 1.45m classes, we noted places of honour for Gudrun Patteet on Monalisa van ‘t Paradijs (s. Bamako de Muze), Yves Houtackers on Porsche (s. Kasanova de la Pomme) and Louis Lambrecht on Hopes are High 111 Z (s. Scendro). In the CSI1*, Anna Wilks (Eubertha Z, s. Elvis Ter Putte) won and Dan Eschmann (Flirt de Riverland, s. I'm Special de Muze) finished fourth at 1.40m level.
Valencia
One of the 1.45m classes at the CSI3* in Valencia produced a fifth place for Victor Bettendorf on Doha de Riverland (s. Nabab de Rêve). Kevin Jochems, as usual, collected the necessary prize money at 1.40m level riding Looks Good de Liebri Z (s. Lector vd Bisschop).
Vejer de la Frontera
Derin Demirsoy piloted Que Cera van ‘t Ruytershof (s. By Cera d'Ick) to second place in the GP2* of Vejer de la Frontera. Another By Cera offspring, Jackpot D.S., finished fourth in a 1.45m class under Miles Jon O'Donnell.
Royan
In Royan, Yoann Le Vot raced to third prize money in a 1.45m class on Funny Girl DK (s. By Cera d'Ick). Nicolas Layec and Fee de Caryan (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) almost equalled that performance, but eventually finished fourth.
San Miguel de Allende
Finally, Bruno Cavalheiro Rebello and Quite Elvis Ve (s. Elvis Ter Putte) finished third in a 1.45m class in San Miguel de Allende.
