With Victor van HD (Yarno Geeroms), Vino For Fun (Nick Vrins) and Vesper van ‘t Veer (Christophe), three of our 4-year-old stallions managed to finish all legs of the Equilannoo Belgian Stallion Competition without any faults. These three stallions were thus declared champions. Furthermore, 4-year-old Heart to Heart MVD (Christophe) achieved a clear round in the final as well,

In the 5-year-olds’ category, there was another clear round in the final for Uelo de Muze (Yarno). Jaguar SIH Z (Frederik Wuytack) and Kept Secret de l'Amitié Z (Anneliese Prag) also did not have a single penalty. In the final for 6-year-olds, Tartufo de Muze again showed his tremendous qualities under Nick Vrins.

The third phase of the BWP stallion selection yielded a breeding licence for Istanbul MVD (s. El Torreo de Muze), bred out of the mare First Call de Muze Z (s. For Pleasure) and with Call Me de Muze Z as granddam.

Wellington

The most notable result last weekend was the prestigious win by Emilie Conter and Portobella van de Fruitkorf (s. Bamako de Muze) in Wellington's GP5*. Henrik von Eckermann piloted Minute Man (ex-O'Neill van ‘t Eigenlo, s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) to fourth place in a 1.50m class. In the CSI2*, Abigail Mc Ardle was second in the GP riding Olympia van ‘t Eikenhof (s. Elvis Ter Putte), after they also managed a close placing in a 1.45m class.

Vejer de la Frontera

Eighth place was the verdict for Emiliano Liberati and Aruba Island (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) in the GP4* of Vejer de la Frontera. At 1.45m level, Jérôme Guery took fifth place with Indigo (s. I'm Special de Muze). In several 1.40m classes there were places of honour for Pablo Santiago Artime on Chiquita d'Aiguilly (s. Nabab de Rêve) and Penelope Leprevost on Bingo del Tondou (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles).

Ocala

Jessica Mendoza and I-Cap CL Z (s. I'm Special de Muze) raced to fifth place in the Ocala GP3*, just ahead of Sharn Wordley on Brin d'Or de Haute Melen Z (s. Bamako de Muze). Mendoza and I-Cap CL Z also finished fourth in a 1.50m class.

Herning

In Herning, Amalie Hegre and O'Vigolon van het Weidse Hof (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) jumped into the limelight thanks to a fifth place in a 1.45m class and a win and fourth place in two 1.40m classes. The GPU25 yielded sixth place for Molly Øvlisen Fisher riding Velvet Underground 4 (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles).

St. Tropez

Quesera de Muze (s. Fantomas de Muze) jumped to second place in the GP2* of St. Tropez under Pascale Haep. Ollister du Lys (s. Scendro, Petronella Andersson) and Fein Lotta DK (s. By Cera d'Ick, Nicolas Delmotte) signed for several places of honour at 1.40m and 1.45m level.

Other

Mariano Ossa and Elton van het Exelhof Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte) raced to place five in a 1.50m class in Gorla Minore. At the CSI3* in Valencia, Victor Bettendorf and Doha de Riverland (s. Nabab de Rêve) won a 1.45m class and finished third over 1.40m. Finally, Francesca Maggiore and Danzarina d'Arthenay (s. Malito de Rêve) took fourth place in a 1.40m class in Mexico's Coapexpan.
