Next Flip is a son of Nabab de Rêve and the Olympic mare H&M Butterfly Flip.Mother Butterfly Flip needs little introduction. With Malin Baryard-Johnsson, she was one of the best horses on the international showjumping circuit. In 2004 Butterfly Flip jumped to Olympic team silver for Sweden in Athens and three years earlier – in 2001 – she helped take home the team Silver at the European Championships in Arnhem. Butterly Flip jumped not less than five World Cup Finals, finishing third in Las Vegas in 2003. She also participated in two World Championships, more precisely in Jerez (2002) and Aachen (2006). In 2003, Butterfly Flip and Baryard-Johnsson were named the world’s best horse and rider combination.Next Flip was trained by Bjorn Van Bunder, but after his tragic accident, Katrijn Van Hoecke has taken over.
