Valentino Boy is a new asset at our stud. This young, bay stallion was born in 2018 out of the combination of Vivant (ex-Vivant van de Heffinck) and Carlina IV (ex-R-Corlina, s. Carvallo BB). Sire Vivant himself jumped at five-star level for many years and competed at the London Olympics and the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky and Caen. Also his offspring is gradually breaking through. The palmares of mother Carlina IV looks equally impressive. Carlina IV was victorious in the World Cup legs of Helsinki and Oslo, finished third twice in the World Cup final and became second in the GP of Aachen. In addition, there were participations in the Olympic Games in London, the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky and the European Championships in Madrid. This is therefore the dam line of, amongst others, the foundation sires Corrado I, Chellano Z and the 1.60m horse Cassiato (s. Concerto II).
At the BWP stallion selection in 2021, Valentino Boy impressed with his scope, rideability and attitude, after which he was convincingly licensed. In the Lannoo Stallion Competition he only delivered clear rounds, displaying the same qualities. Last year he stood at stud in Sweden on a rental basis. This year, due to his good performances there, he is back at the disposal of our breeders in Sint-Niklaas.
