Taran de la Pomme himself jumped up to 1.60m level with, among others, Kevin Staut, which should not be surprising given his unique genes. After all, Taran de la Pomme is the half-brother to top stallions Glock's London (ex-Carembar de Muze) and Golden Hawk (ex-Figo de Muze). This means that his dam is obviously the renowned GP mare Ta Belle van Sombeke (Jos Lansink). Taran's sire, in turn, is the Chin Chin-son Tolano van 't Riethof.

Taran de la Pomme's offspring do not excel in quantity but all the more in quality. From only a handful of offspring that are old enough (around 100), quite a few are jumping at the (very) highest level. Examples include Tristan Horta Z under Virginie Thonon, Caipiranja under Tiffany Foster, Dalila de la Pomme under Evelina Tovek, Chic Hin d'Hyrencourt under Beezie Madden and, of course, our very own El Torreo de Muze under Bernardo Alves. His next generation is already there. 8-year-olds Thor Ter Wilgen and Quite Easy van 't Paradijs have joined top stables and have already reached 1.40m-1.45m level.
