Lector vd Bisschop second in Bethune Six Bars

Bethune

In French Bethune, our eight-year-old prospect Lector vd Bisschop (s. Bamako de Muze) has become second in the Six Bars. With Karline De Brabander, he jumped over 1.92m. An equal result was achieved by Björn Vandenbossche on Juristo van het Hagenhof (s. Elvis Ter Putte). Riding Call Me de Muze Z (s. Clarissimo Z), Karline was also placed in the classes for seven-year-olds.

GCT/GCL Cannes

Once more a very prestigious victory for Gancia de Muze (s. Malito de Rêve) and Niels Bruynseels in the GP5* of Cannes after already finishing fourth in the qualification. Shane Breen on Ipswich van de Wolfsakker (s. Glock’s London) grabbed the fifth place in the GP and became second in the GCL as part of the Miami Celtics.

At the CSI1* in Cannes, Jane Richard Philips was victorious twice over 1.40m, once with Dieudonné de Guldenboom (s. Nabab de Rêve) and once with Kenia van ‘t Laerhof (s. Fantomas de Muze).

Lier

The young horses were busy in Lier, with fine results in the competitions for five-year-olds for Isabelle Hanssens (Ellabelle de Rie Z, s. Elvis Ter Putte) and Evert Van Mele (Elaba de Muze Z, s. Elvis Ter Putte). An age category higher, the honours went to Oak Grove’s I’m The One (s. I’m Special de Muze, Jos Verlooy) and Nasty Boy de Muze (s. Bamako de Muze, Dayro Arroyave). In the classes for seven-year-olds, Messi vd Bisschop (s. Bamako de Muze, Bernardo Mathias), Gotha de la Brasserie (s. I’m Special de Muze, Christophe Vanderhasselt) and Vida Loca Della Marca Z (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles, Agustin Covarrubias) excelled. Finally, in a 1.40m-class, we noted a fourth place for Dayro Arroyave and Firmin d’Ecaussinnes (s. Nabab de Rêve).

Wiesbaden

At the Pfingstturnier in Wiesbaden, there was a seventh place in the GP4* for Christian Weier on Global (s. Nabab de Rêve), half-brother to Fantomas de Muze and Lector vd Bisschop. Earlier on, Harrie Smolders and Zinius (s. Nabab de Rêve) won a 1.55m-class, while Peter Moloney and Ghana (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles), half-sister to Navajo van ‘t Vianahof, became fifth in a 1.45m-class.

Le Mans & Lons Le Saunier

In French Le Mans, Alix Ragot added two third places to her curriculum, riding the seven-year-old Mowgli ‘sv’ (s. Fantomas de Muze) and in Lons Le Saunier, Thibeau Spits finished fourth with Bellissimo Z (s. Bamako de Muze) in a 1.50m-class. Furthermore, we noted a fifth place for Alexandra Ledermann and Buzz Phole (s. Nabab de Rêve) in a 1.40m-class and there were some nice placings for Markus Hauri and Music de Muze (s. Bamako de Muze) in the classes for seven-year-olds.

Poznan & Ciekocinko

Omer Karaevli and Gotham City PL once more won two classes, this time in Poznan. Gotham City is sired by Filou de Muze and she won a whopping 16 international classes out of only 34 starts in 2019. In Ciekocinko on the other hand, we noted a third place for Marc Bettinger on Notorious vd Wolfsakker Z (s. Nabab de Rêve).

San Remo

Finally, in San Remo, we noted some excellent performances from Ibiza (s. I’m Special de Muze, Karin Hanselmann) and Il Divo (s. Nabab de Rêve, Simone Buhofer) in the classes for six-year-olds.

STX Hasselt

We finish off this week’s overview with the Hasselt leg of the STX Cycle. Mi Amor van ‘t Valissenhof (s. I’m Special de Muze) and Jan Van Dyck became second in the competition for seven-year-olds, just ahead of Esprit d’Intro Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte) and Arnaud Gaublomme. Guy Beyers finished in ninth position riding Matonge of Colors (s. Elvis Ter Putte).

In the competition for six-year-olds, Walter Lelie rode In Style N (s. I’m Special de Muze) to third place. Besides that, there was also a double clear from Katrijn Van Hoecke on Next Funky de Muze (s. Elvis Ter Putte).

Brent Van Damme and Nice Call Me de Muze Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) finally, realised a nice clear round in the competition for four-year-olds.
