Our stallions keep impressing

Whether it is through their own performances, through their damline or through their offspring, the de Muze stallions once again impressed last week with several great results.

In Bordeaux, it was Inca Boy van ‘t Vianahof (f. Diamant de Semilly) that once again claimed the spotlight with impeccable jumping. The half-brother to our stallion Navajo van ‘t Vianahof did not touch a pole the whole weekend and put a cherry on the cake by finishing tenth in the GP with a double clear round. That same class was won by Emerald N.O.P. with the flying Dutchman Harrie Smolders. The duo managed to keep Jur Vrieling and Glasgow van ‘t Merelsnest (f. Nabab de Rêve) of the victory. Glasgow is an NRPS-approved stallion. Earlier during the week, Smolders triumphed in a class riding Zinius (f. Nabab de Rêve).

Also in Bordeaux, we witnessed the first international appearance of Le Coultre de Muze (f. Presley Boy) with the French Olympic rider Philippe Rozier. Le Coultre is a son of Genève de Muze, who is by Vigo d’Arsouilles. The grandmother of Le Coultre is the famous Nelke van ‘t Waterschoot (f. Latano I). Finally, Iphigeneia de Muze (f. Erco van ‘t Roosakker) grabbed a fourth place in 1.45m-class.

A little more to the north, in the Austrian town of Villach, the Glock Horse Performance Center was the stage for a CSI3*. London, formerly known as Carembar de Muze (f. Nabab de Rêve) impressed by finishing fourth in the GP with Gerco Schröder. Also in the Youngster Tour, Nabab made his mark. He sired the winner of the final, Novita Jovial Z.

Off we go to Offenburg, where Jos Verlooy placed fifth in the grand prix with Japatero VDM (Eldorado van de Zeshoek x Derly Chin de Muze, f. For Pleasure). Japatero’s dam line goes back to Qerly Chin.

Some more Qerly Chin in Wellington, where Richie Moloney rode Freestyle de Muze to the sixth place in the tough GP4*. Freestyle is a son of the Cento-daughter Centa de Muze, meaning he is a half-brother to for example the former vice-Belgian champion Horizon de Regor (f. Obourg). In the classes for young horses, Mevis de Muze (f. Elvis Ter Putte) excelled once again, winning the final for six-year-olds. Besides, he was crowned young horse of the week.

Before rounding up, we need to head to the KWPN Stallion Approvals. In the stallion competition, L division, the victory was for Ipsthar, an approved son of Denzel van ‘t Meulenhof. At the stallion approvals, offspring of Falaise de Muze, Carembar de Muze, Nabab de Rêve and Vagabond de la Pomme has been selected for the performance test. Another remarkable addition to this test is Kornet’s Boy, a Cornet Obelensky x Quick Star, that was sold during the first edition of the ET-Auction for young horses.

Stable switch

Malito de Rêve will of course be available through Stal de Muze in the upcoming breeding season, but the stallion himself is transferred to the French Haras de Circée. There he will meet our other stallions Satisfaction FRH and Querlybet Hero, who have a stable there as well.
