With third place in the GP3* at Oliva, Lector and Koen started 2024 like a rocket. That definitely promises for the rest of the year. Riding Oilily de Muze (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles), Koen also raced to fourth place in a ranking class, just ahead of Petronella Andersson and Olympke van 't Merelsnest (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles). The GP1* yielded a third place for Koen as well, this time riding Istina Esqui (s. I'm Special de Muze). There were further placings at 1.40m level for Giulia Martinengo Marquet (Pina van de Moerhoeve, s. Denzel van 't Meulenhof), Jérôme Guery (Jyrado vh Bovenhoekshof, s. By Cera d'Ick) and again for Koen and Oilily.
Leipzig
At the World Cup competition in Leipzig, Peder Fredricson and Vroom de la Pomme Z (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) jumped into the spotlight. They finished eighth in the World Cup and third in a 1.55m class. Martin Fuchs and Viper Z (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles) grabbed third place in a 1.45m class.
Wellington
Olympia van het Eikenhof (s. Elvis Ter Putte) was fastest in the WEF Challenge Cup under Abigail McArdle. Further in week 3 of the WEF, edition 2024, placings were achieved by Oilily van 't Eigenlo (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles, Paul O'Shea), Ogue BT Special (s. I'm Special de Muze, Elena Haas) and Iphigeneia de Muze (s. Erco van 't Roosakker, Stella Wasserman).
Doha
Another week, another cracking performance by Olga van de Kruishoeve (s. El Torreo de Muze, Simon Delestre). This time the mare took third place in a 1.50m class. Nadja Peter Steiner and Harry KM (s. Scendro) finished first and fourth in two 1.40m classes.
Other
At the CSI2* in Abu Dhabi, Sophie Hinners finished second and fifth in two 1.40m classes in the saddle of Special Life (s. I'm Special de Muze). In turn, the Kuwait GP2* was won by Ali Al Khorafi on Karaat (s. I'm Special de Muze). This duo also came second in a 1.40m class. Finally, in Kelsall Hill, UK, Gemma Stevens and Envoy Merelsnest Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte) finished fifth in a 1.40m class.
