I'm Special de Muze is unique on all counts. First, in terms of his pedigree: sire Emerald won under Harrie Smolders the 2015 Washington World Cup, the 2015 Falsterbo Nations Cup, the 2013 Aachen and Gijon Nations Cups, the 2018 Bordeaux GP, among others. I'm Special de Muze's dam Walnut de Muze won Grand Prix and Nations Cups all over the world under Harrie Smolders, including Madrid, Dublin, Doha, Wellington, Mechelen and Calgary. The dam's line goes further back to foundation dam Qerly Chin. 

His own sporting career was mainly under the saddle of Zoï Snels. That included a win in a 1.50m class in Neumünster anda a second place in the 1.45m at CSI Gent in early 2019.

However, his progeny seem to be doing even better. I'm Special de Muze is riding high as a breeding stallion and performs well in all possible rankings. Notable offspring include Special Life (Sophie Hinners), I-Cap CL Z (Jessica Mendoza) and Kivinia (Bas Moerings). Last year, more than 170 offspring of I'm Special were active in the international showjumping sport.
