We cannot, of course, begin this newsletter without taking a moment to look back at the fantastic World Championships in Aachen. Not only did the Belgians secure some well-earned medals, but the offspring of our stallions also made their mark. For instance, Fasther (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles), ridden by Lillie Keenan, jumped to fourth place with the American team in the team competition. Italy finished in fifth place thanks, in part, to the contribution of Giacomo Casadei and Marbella du Chabli (s. Elvis Ter Putte). We also saw impressive performances from, amongst others, Qonquest de Rigo (s. Fantomas de Muze, ridden by Bertram Allen), Polonis L (s. Le Blue Diamond van ’t Ruytershof, ridden by Caroline Rehoff Pedersen), Ipsthar (s. Denzel van ’t Meulenhof, ridden by Bas Moerings), Normandy GHP (s. Nabab de Rêve, ridden by Sophie Scott) and Minute Man (formerly O’Neill van ’t Eigenlo, s. Vigo d’Arsouilles, ridden by Henrik von Eckermann).

Lier

The CSI3* in Lier saw Graham Babes secure victory over 1.50m on Monks I Am Casall (s. I’m Special de Muze). They edged out Louis Le Grelle and New Life van het Hellehof (s. Elvis Ter Putte).

Ermelo

Rob Scherphof guided Miss Montreal (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) to fifth place in the GP2* of Ermelo. Gerwilmer Ton and Dwivoli van de Groote Kamps Z (s. Denzel van ’t Meulenhof) took fourth place in a ranking class.

Notre Dame d’Estrées

Ramona d’O (s. Bamako de Muze) and François Bossu took eighth place in the GP2* at Notre Dame d’Estrées in France. They incurred only a time penalty.

North Salem

Finally, in the GP2* at North Salem, Samantha Kasowitz made a name for herself riding Morfine de Muze (s. Nabab de Rêve). The pair finished eighth.
