All eyes were focused on Tokyo last week. Besides the beautiful bronze for the Belgian team, Bamako brought a medal for Stal de Muze thanks to Don Juan van de Donkhoeve who, under Jessica Springsteen, jumped to silver with the American team.

On Belgian soil, the showjumping circuit landed in Sentower Park. Pieter Clemens and Icarus (s. Querlybet Hero) took the eighth place in the GP2*.
In the classes for young horses, the 5-year-olds Quorra van 't Spieveld Stb (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles, Axelle Druyts), Quite Easy van 't Paradijs (s. Taran de la Pomme, Astrid Rooms), Queen Cera Stb-Ddb (s. By Cera d'Ick, Dries De Bock), Queen B van 't Paradijs (s. Bamako de Muze, Astrid Rooms), Quaresma van 't Paradijs (s. Bamako de Muze, Astrid Rooms), Maurysito De Nuit Z (s. Mosito van het Hellehof, Axelle Druyts) and Empire SBK Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte, Juan Pablo Garriz) jumped into the spotlight.
The classes for 6-year-olds resulted in one or more clear rounds for Positif van 't Paradijs (s. Bamako de Muze, Astrid Rooms) and Pele vd Withoeve (s. Scendro, Julia Dallamano). In the competition for 7- and 8-year-olds, Giulia Martinengo Marquet piloted Jotage B (s. Denzel van 't Meulenhof) to the second place in the final. Also Ikaberlina RV (s. Elvis Ter Putte, Shane O'Meara), Emirats de Riverland (s. Nabab de Rêve, Thibault Vermeulen), Oklahoma van de Zelm (s. Kasanova de la Pomme, Jeroen Scheepers) and Olympus van de Molenberg (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles, Tiffany Foster) showed they have a promising future.
Other
At the youth show in Valkenswaard, Emilia Housen and Noukie Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) jumped to fifth place in a 1.45m class. Claire Putters and Copain de Muze (s. Bamako de Muze) were fifth in the GPU25 (1.50m).
In St. Lô Aymeric de Ponnat and Elize (s. Bamako de Muze) finished fourth in a 1.45m class. Finally, El Conde (s. Filou de Muze) and Gerardo Pasquel Mendez finished tenth in the GP of Traverse City.
