Z-Tour
At the Z-Tour in Lanaken, Christophe De Brabander emerged victorious for the second week in a row with our own breeding product Genève de Muze (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles). With L’Hermes de Muze (s. Elvis Ter Putte), he added a third place in a 1.30m-class to that.
In the classes for six-year-olds, the progeny of Elvis Ter Putte once more stood in the spotlight. Alexander Liefsoens impressed with his own breeding products Elnica CL Z and Esteluna CL Z, as did he with Echo Van Spalbeek Z. They were accompanied by Aurelia Guisson on No Limit Vh Legita Hof Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) and Caroline De Laet on our young stallion New Star Quality (s. Nabab de Rêve).
Max Sebrechts and Karlin van ‘t Vennehof (s. Fantomas de Muze) did well in the U25-competition at the Z-Tour. The duo became, among others, fifth in a 1.40m-class.
St. Tropez
A two- and four-star-competition took place simultaneously in the worldly St. Tropez. Uraeus Blanc HDC (s. Nabab de Rêve) speeded to a double victory, ridden by Patrice Delaveau. They won a 1.40m and a 1.45m-class. Finally, we also noted a third place for Niara d’Elsendam Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) with Romain Dreyfus in a 1.40m-class.
Miami
Zinius (s. Nabab de Rêve) added another excellent placing to his already well-filled resume, ridden by Harrie Smolders of course. This time they ended third in a 1.45m-class. Niels Bruynseels and Gancia de Muze (s. Malito de Rêve) have an equally impressive resume and took a fourth place in a 1.60m-class in Miami.
Opglabbeek
At the Sentower Park in Opglabbeek, it was up to the young horses to make the headlines. Manda Rautenberg rode Honolulu (s. Elvis Ter Putte) and Cederick Deknudt rode Vestale van de Windeweg Z (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) to several placings in the classes for five-year-olds. Nanou van het Dennehof (s. Elvis Ter Putte) and Brieanne Dofort grabbed a victory in the classes for six-year-olds. Additionally, in the latter age category, there were some fine rounds from Elisa Strubbe on E-Risingson Z (s. Elvis Ter Putte) and Noortje van de Windheuvel (s. Farfelu de Muze), ridden by You Zhang. The newly formed combination Michael Hughes and Very High de Muze (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) performed a double clear in the final for seven-year-olds during their first competition together.
At the 1.40m-level, there was a fifth place for Paul Lescaillet on Jabab des Valces (s. Nabab de Rêve) and a second place for Yves Houtackers on Dieu Merci van ‘t Meulenhof (s. Bamako de Muze).
Oliva-Valencia
As was the case last week, the best performance in Oliva was contributed by Greg Patrick Broderick and Dabelle (s. Nabab de Rêve), dam to our young stallion Jardy de Muze. This duo became fifth in the GP3*. In Valencia there was a fourth placing for Marc Bettinger and Netuno vd Wolfsakker Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) in a 1.40m-class.
STX Cycle
Mithras de Regor and Guy Beyers became second for the second time in a row in the STX Cycle for seven-year-olds. The latest leg took place in Basècles. The victory went to Jan Van Dyck, riding Mi Amor van ‘t Valissenhof (s. I’m Special de Muze). The ninth place was also occupied by a descendant of I’m Special de Muze, this time I’m Monte Carlo Z, ridden by Thomas De Wit.
In the class for six-year-olds, Noir Desir de Bourguignon (s. Vigo d’Arsouilles) became eighth with Vincent Bourguignon. Steven Verwaeren rode Namaco van ‘t Keldertje (s. Bamako de Muze) to place nine.
Finally, our Nice Call Me de Muze Z (s. Nabab de Rêve, Brent Van Damme) finished with a fine clear round in the competition for four-year-olds.
