Victory in Oslo for Figo de Muze

World Cup Qualifier Oslo

The first leg of the 2018-2019 World Cup series took place in Oslo last weekend. Golden Hawk (ex-Figo de Muze, f. Vigo d’Arsouilles) immediately picked up the pace with a victory in a 1.50m-class, ridden by Shane Breen.

French Grands Prix

A lot of excellent performances in several French Grands Prix as well. In Nevers, Cyril Bouvard won the GP2* with Victoria d’Argent (f. Nabab de Rêve), while Elize (f. Bamako de Muze) and Aymeric de Ponnat became eighth in the GP of Le Mans.

Moorsele

The progeny of Nabab de Rêve was also victorious in Moorsele, since Konak won the GP with Gilles Thomas after already winning a 1.45m-class earlier during the competition. In the latter class, Tum Play du Jouas (f. Querlybet Hero) became fourth with Rik Heemeryck and Paul Lescaillat on his Jabab des Valces (f. Nabab de Rêve) ended seventh.

Also in Moorsele, Mika vd Wellington (f. Bamako de Muze) impressed in the classes for five- and six-year-olds, as did Guillaume Foutrier with Elvira de Bornival Z (f. Elvis Ter Putte). Just like during the previous weeks, Freud del Cabanon (f. Filou de Muze) and Gilles Murigneux performed excellent in the classes for seven-year-olds. Bertram Allen and the approved stallion Guinness (f. Nabab de Rêve) also placed themselves several times.

Opglabbeek

The Sentower Park proved to be once more the playing field for Bernardo Alves and our stallion El Torreo de Muze (f. Taran de la Pomme). This time, they became sixth in the GP. Kaiser van het Lambroeck (f. Nabab de Rêve) and Cassio Rivetti on their turn ended second in a 1.35m-class. With a victory in the final and twice a fifth place, Lou Lou VLS (f. Elvis Ter Putte) made her mark in the classes for seven-year-olds with Yuri Mansur.

Southern Europe

In Spanish Oliva-Valencia we noted a fourth place for Philippe Leoni with Collinus (f. Nabab de Rêve). The competition in Vilamoura resulted in a victory for Lisa Cubitt and Encore (f. Nabab de Rêve) over 1.40m and a fourth place for James Wilson and Townhead Imagine de Muze (f. Nabab de Rêve) over 1.45m.

Miscellaneous

Finally, in the Lithuanian town Siauliai, there was a World Cup qualifier at the two star level. Romanian rider Andrea Herck jumped to a nice ninth place there with the only eight-year-old Kalvarie van de Zelm (f. Nabab de Rêve).
