First of all, our very best wishes to everyone for the new year. The big international shows are still on hold until around mid-January, but fortunately we still have a review of Jumping Mechelen up our sleeve.

It was a cracking edition thanks to our 9-year-old stallion Obama de la Linière (Marius Claudius out of the mare Eefke van het Zoggehof). The half-brother of True Colors de la Linière (s. Darco) won the Sires of the World and was second in the 1.45m on the final day, each time under Thibault Philippaerts. Nixon van 't Meulenhof (s. Denzel van 't Meulenhof) and Jos Verlooy finished fifth in the Sires.

Kasanova de la Pomme also made a mark with a placing in a 1.45m class, a 1.50m class and to top it all off, a tenth place in the tricky World Cup. Riding Oilily de Muze (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles), Koen was also placed in a 1.45m class. Victoria Gulliksen and Mistral van de Vogelzang (s. Elvis Ter Putte) finished ninth in the World Cup. In the GP we recorded eighth place for Robert Murphy on Hulde G (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles). Olivier Philippaerts and Le Blue Diamond van 't Ruytershof (s. Plot Blue) grabbed third place in the Masters.

In the GP2*, Andres Vereecke and Call Me de Muze Z (s. Clarissimo Z) achieved the fastest time in the jump-off. Four penalties eventually landed them in sixth place. Vincent Lambrecht piloted S&L Petruska vd Bisschop (s. Denzel van 't Meulenhof) to fifth place in a 1.45m class.

In the youth classes, Aurelia Guisson and No Limit Vh Legita Hof Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) took third place in the GP for Juniors. No Limit is the half-brother of our promising young stallion Tellini van 't Ruytershof. Kyle Cuypers and Quadro van 't Buxushof (s. Elvis Ter Putte) came second in another 1.40m class.

Just before Christmas, Pommery van het IJzeren Lindehof (s. Kasanova de la Pomme) raced to tenth place in the GP2* of Deurne under Dries Dekkers. At the same show, Sabrina van Rijswijk won a 1.40m class riding Mowgli van Polderzicht (s. Mosito van het Hellehof).
