Excellent results for Stal de Muze at the second phase of the BWP stallion approvals last weekend. No less than three of the stallions presented by us were given the green light by the jury and may prove themselves under the saddle during the third phase (17 to 19 March in Sentower Park, Opglabbeek).
They are:
Tartufo de Muze: a chestnut coloured son by Chacco-Blue out of our mare Azuela de Muze (s. Heartbreaker). Tartufo is, among others, half-brother to the 1.60m horses Vedet de Muze ET (s. Cartani) and Felini de la Pomme (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles). The great-grandmother of Tartufo is our foundation mare Qerly Chin.
True Colors de la Linière: A son of Darco, also chestnut coloured, out of the mare Eefke van 't Zoggehof (s. Figo de Muze). True Colors is half-brother to Obama de la Linière who jumps already at 1.45m level with Ludo Philippaerts. The great-grandmother of True Colors is our foundation mare Fragance de Chalus.
Toetankhamon de Muze: a bay stallion by Kasanova de la Pomme whose mother is the mare Vigo's Flip de Muze Z (s. Vigo d'Arsouilles). Toetankhamon's grandmother is the world-famous mare Butterfly Flip (ridden by Malin Baryard-Johnsson).
Furthermore, three sons (on three presented) of Bamako de Muze and two sons (on two presented) of Mosito van het Hellehof were referred to the third phase. That means a 100% passing score. Congratulations to all the breeders and presenters!
Stallion competition
Our young stallions equally performed very well in the stallion competition. Under Koen Vereecke both Valentino Boy and Special Star de Corlato jumped a nice clear round. For Cavalier Russe Z there was a bad luck fault resulting in four penalty points.
Moreover, there were clear rounds for sons of Matisse de Mariposa in the competition for 4-year-old stallions and for sons of Bamako de Muze (3), By Cera d'Ick (2), Gino H (2), Satisfaction (2), Le Blue Diamond van 't Ruytershof and Lector vd Bisschop in the competition for 5-year-old stallions.
In the class for 6-year-olds, our stallion Quaprice JW (s. Presley Boy), co-owned with JW Stables, became fourth under Frederik Wuytack with a nice and fast clear round. Liberté La Cita Z (s. Le Blue Diamond van 't Ruytershof) jumped to ninth place with Bart Hermans. Peter Boelens and Nobel van de Vrombautshoeve Z (s. Nabab de Rêve) were in tenth place. Bullseye 111 Z (s. Bamako de Muze) took the bronze in the 7-year-old’s competition under Joe Clee. In that class Ecuador DW Z (s. El Torreo de Muze) and Thomas De Wit finished at number ten.
